Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026 · Operated by 1969 EOOD (Bulgaria)

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Taskify mobile application ("Taskify", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Taskify is developed and operated by 1969 EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

1. Summary

Taskify is a personal task manager. Your tasks are stored on your device by default. Some features — such as cloud backup, Google Calendar sync, and advertising — involve third-party services and are described below. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Data stored on your device

By default, the tasks, categories, notes, reminders, and settings you create are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data stays on your device unless you enable a feature that syncs or backs it up (see below).

3. Account and cloud backup (optional)

If you choose to sign in, Taskify can back up your data to Firebase (a Google service) so it can be restored or synced across your devices. This is optional. If you do not sign in, no task data leaves your device through this feature. When you sign in, we process the account identifier provided by the sign-in provider and your task data for the purpose of backup and sync.

4. Google Calendar sync (optional)

Taskify offers optional two-way synchronization with Google Calendar. This feature is only active if you explicitly grant access through Google's standard OAuth 2.0 consent screen. When enabled:

5. Advertising

The free version of Taskify may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain identifiers (such as a device advertising ID) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's policies. You can limit ad personalization through your device settings. Premium (paid) users do not see ads.

6. Purchases

Premium subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by the app stores (Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store) and managed via RevenueCat, which helps us validate purchases and entitlement status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled by the app store and its payment processors.

7. Notifications

Taskify uses local notifications on your device to remind you about tasks. You can control notification permissions in your device settings.

8. Third-party services

Taskify relies on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

9. Data retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you use cloud backup, that data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of backed-up data by contacting us.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional features such as Google Calendar sync. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may also revoke Google Calendar access directly from your Google Account, and uninstall the app to remove local data.

11. Children

Taskify is not directed at children under the age required by your local law for consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this page.
